The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program is offered by the Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences. The Program in Public Health is thrilled to partner with the DPT to offer a dual-DPT/MPH degree.
The DPT/MPH program at Northwestern University provides one of only a few opportunities in the country for students to pursue both degrees. The combination of coursework from both programs emphasizes both individual and population health improvement.
The dual-degree can be completed in three years, with coursework from both programs completed concurrently. Students will begin MPH coursework during the summer prior to matriculating into the DPT program.
In order to be eligible for this dual-degree, students must first be accepted into the DPT program. More information on admissions and program requirements can be found here.
